Ritual of: Physicality

Before I begin . . . look at that picture. So scrumptious.

Now to the point.  

Yesterday after work I went out for some amazing Jamaican food. Let me tell you, I had some serious ‘itis – and the fact that it was 30 degrees wasn’t helping. I just wanted to pass out. I thought I about my Tae’Bo video and all I could do was moan, I honestly did not want to get up off my ass to work out. In fact, I wanted to buy a bag of chocolate M&M’s and chill in bed for the rest of the evening.  Thankfully I didn’t, I put my work out clothes on and pushed myself through a 45 minute video, and when I was done . . . I FELT DAMN GOOD!  

24 hours in a day. 7 days in a week. That equals 168 hours in one week. Is 5 hours too much to ask? 5 hours to show your body some love. You don’t have to do some crazy-hard work out. Go for a walk, sign up for a Yoga or Pilates class, go for a swim (if you know how) and you don’t have to do an hour straight, split it up. But don’t neglect exercise. It’s so important, not just for body image, for your health, for your well-being.

You’ll feel amazing if you have a set exercise routine! Honestly, I feel a difference in my sleep, and days, when I work out I have more energy, I feel motivated, and I look great! 

So get off those boo-tays ladies and DO YOU BOO!
