It’s better to love, then to give into hate

Break ups can be hard. Especially when it’s followed by a period of time that is filled with arguments and bitter comments.

But that doesn’t mean I have to hate him.

Now I’m not saying you can befriend an ex, but it may just be one of those cases where it’s mind over matter. In my case, I was feeling a little bitter after my break up, and at first I was sad, then I was just mad, but then I became depressed and then I got mad again, and I let the anger fester. I thought of all the possible reasons to hate the jack ass. And I started to hate him. Didn’t even want to see his face.

But I had one of my moments. I decided, I wasn’t going to hate him, there was no reason to hate him, that don’t mean I gotta be his friend though. He can do his thing and I’ll do mine. And if I ever see him around, I’ll flash him a smile and wave and keep on walking.

Hate can only tear you down. Replace fear with love, and count your blessings.

Do you boo!
